NYU Langone Health names director of pancreatic disease program

Tamas Gonda, MD, joined New York City-based NYU Langone Health as director of the hospital’s pancreatic disease program.

Dr. Gonda will also serve as New York City-based NYU Langone-Tisch Hospital’s chief of endoscopy.

He comes to NYU Langone after serving on the faculty at New York City-based Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

In his new role, Dr. Gonda will work with Gregory Haber, MD, chief of endoscopy for NYU Langone Health, to create clinical, training and research programs.
