North Carolina GI practice adds infusion center

Hickory, N.C.-based Gastroenterology Associates added an infusion center to provide long-term infusion services to its clients with gastrointestinal diseases, the Hickory Daily Record reports.

The center will see patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and other conditions. The center is staffed by a team of registered nurses. It has several patient amenities including recliners, warming blankets, Wi-Fi, complimentary beverages and a television.
