Motus GI’s proprietary Pure-Vu system integrates with colonoscopes to improve visualization during procedures, according to an April 30 news release. The newly cleared version is compatible with gastroscopes for endoscopy procedures to remove blood, blood clots and debris.

“We believe this regulatory milestone broadens our ability to participate in a larger percentage of procedures performed by our key customers, providing us a natural extension of our commercial strategy,” CEO Tim Moran said.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
