Modernizing Medicine Gastroenterology expanded its gGastro EHR and gPM practice management platforms.
What you should know:
1. In its gGastro mobile EHR app, Modernizing Medicine added the ability to monitor and manage patient tasks as well as capture hospital or off-site visit charges.
2. The company added a price estimation tool, an automated patient schedule reminder tool, and a patient survey tool to gPM.
3. The company's gGastro EHR features a bi-directional lab connection through a collaboration with Change Healthcare. Physicians can now submit clinical lab orders and view results within the EHR.
4. Modernizing Medicine will showcase the updated products at the American College of Gastroenterology's 2019 Meeting, Oct. 25-30 in San Antonio.
