GI leader to know: Dr. Xuong Lu of Pittsburgh Gastroenterology Associates

Xuong Lu, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Pittsburgh Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr. Lu specializes in diagnosing and treating pancreas, liver and biliary tract disorders.

He began his career after earning his medical degree from Philadelphia’s Temple University. He completed a residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia before completing his internship at Allegheny (Penn.) General Hospital. He returned to Temple University for his fellowship.

Dr. Lu is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association among others.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Lu enjoys spending time with his family.
