Dr. Karnam earned his medical degree from Madras, India-based Stanley Medical College. He completed a residency at New Delhi, India-based AIIMS, an internship at New York City-based Long Island College Hospital, a second residency at Detroit-based Wayne State University and a fellowship at the University of Miami.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Karnam has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
