Dr. Brown performed several clinical studies concerning irritable bowel syndrome. He created his own research business, KBS Research, as a result of these efforts. KBS Research aims to create “innovative natural products” for IBS.
He earned his medical degree at Lincoln-based University of Nebraska and completed a residency and fellowship at San Antonio-based University of Texas Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Brown is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Medical Association and American Gastroenterological Association among others. He is a past member of AmSurg’s physician advisory board.
He is affiliated with Digestive Health Associates of Texas in Plano.
