GI leader to know: Dr. Shirish Amin of Digestive Health Center of Indiana

Shirish Amin, MD, a gastroenterologist, is the COO and the owner of Digestive Health Center of Indiana (Pa.).

Dr. Amin began his career after earning his medical degree from Surat, India-based Government Medical College. He completed an internship at Pittsburgh-based Western Pennsylvania Hospital, a residency at New York City-based St. Johns Episcopal Hospital and another residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

He is board-certified in gastroenterology, hepatology and internal medicine.

Dr. Amin is a clinical assistant professor at UPMC.
