GI leader to know: Dr. Patricia Wong of Main Line Health

Patricia Wong, MD, is the assistant gastroenterology program director and director of women’s gastrointestinal health at Philadelphia-based Main Line Health.

Before joining Main Line Health, Dr. Wong was an assistant professor of medicine and an associate fellowship program director at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and director of the GI clinic at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Dr. Wong’s clinical interests include gastrointestinal issues related to women’s health and genetic colon cancer syndromes.

She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Wong earned her medical degree from Stanford (Calif.) Medical School and completed her fellowship at the Philadelphia-based Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
