GI leader to know: Dr. Miguel Regueiro of the Cleveland Clinic

Miguel Regueiro, MD, is the Cleveland Clinic’s gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition department chair.

Dr. Regueiro is the Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute’s vice chair.

Additionally, he is the Digestive Disease and Surgical Institute Research Governance committee co-chair.

Dr. Regueiro is the Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute’s Pier C. and Renee A. Borra Family Endowed Chair in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia-based Drexel University and completed his fellowship at Boston-based Beth Israel Hospital.
