GI leader to know: Dr. David Landy of Birmingham Gastroenterology

David Landy, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Birmingham (Ala.) Gastroenterology.

Dr. Landy began his career after earning his medical degree from Atlanta-based Emory University. He stayed at Emory for his residency and completed his fellowship at Jacksonville-based University of Florida Health Sciences Center.

He is a member of several professional societies including the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastroenterology.

The Alabama chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America named Dr. Landy its “2007 Physician of the Year.”
