Dr. Cox earned her medical degree at Morgantown-based West Virginia University. She completed a residency at CAMC Memorial in Youngtown, W.Va., and a fellowship at Charleston-based University of Virginia.
She served in the U.S. Air Force, eventually becoming chief of gastroenterology at Greene County, Ohio-based Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Dr. Cox came to Kanawha Valley Gastroenterology Associates in 2009 to practice alongside her friend, Emily Battle, MD.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys running and science fiction.
