GI leader to know: Dr. Brian Jacobson of Boston University Gastroenterology

Brian C. Jacobson, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Boston University Gastroenterology.

Dr. Jacobson is the medical director of the Boston Accountable Care Organization, as well as the director of gastroenterology quality improvement for Boston Medical Center.

He is an associate professor of medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Jacobson received his medical degree from the New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his master’s degree in public health from the Boston-based Harvard University School of Public Health.

He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Jacobson served as chief medical resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and completed a fellowship in advanced interventional endoscopy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.
