GI leader to know: Dr. Andrew Riegel of Emerald Coast Gastroenterology

Andrew Riegel, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Fort Walton Beach, Fla.-based Emerald Coast Gastroenterology.

Dr. Riegel’s clinical expertise includes esophagogastroduodenoscopy, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.

He began his career after earning his medical degree from the University of Miami. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina.

In addition to practicing at Emerald Coast Gastroenterology, Dr. Riegel serves on the medical staff of the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
