Basic evaluations are designed to expedite the potential for long-term restoration of bowel or bladder function, according to the report.

The Verify System is designed to allow patients to test the benefits of the Medtronic Bladder or Bowel Control Therapy prior to making a long-term commitment. Medtronic’s Bladder and Bowel Control therapies are delivered through the InterStim System.

The Verify System and InterStim System deliver mild electrical stimulation to the sacral nerves to improve bowel and bladder control, according to the report.
