Boston Medical Center named Jason F. Hall, MD, chief of colon and rectal surgery and co-director of its Dempsey Center for Digestive Disorders, according to a Wicked Local Lincoln report.

1. Dr. Hall will also serve as an associate professor of surgery at Boston University School of Medicine.

2. He most recently provided care at Boston-based Tufts University School of Medicine and its teaching hospital, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass.

3. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

4. His research interests include colorectal cancer, diverticulitis and fistulas.

5. He completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
