Tyler Berzin, MD, performed the procedure, according to a LinkedIn post by Terri Reese-Steinek, Medtronic’s executive capital sales manager.

The FDA in April granted de novo clearance for the device, which is Medtronic’s first AI system for colonoscopies.

The device uses AI to identify colorectal polyps and is compatible with any colonoscopy video.
