Here are four news updates on key gastroenterology and endoscopy companies.

The ASGE gave Apollo Endosurgery‘s ORBERA Intragastric Balloon system a nod for meeting its Preservation and Incorporation of Valuable Endoscopic Innovations threshold standards for the treatment of obesity.

Boston Scientific launched its Captivator EMR device for endoscopic mucosal resection. The device is designed for upper GI EMR.

Cantel Medical reported its financial results for the fourth quarter of ended July 31, 2015. The company reported record US GAAP net income of $13.2 million in the fourth quarter of this year, a 15 percent increase in sales to a record $151.2 million.

Exact Sciences is planning to open a 250,000-square-foot headquarters location in Madison, Wis., according to a WKOW.COM report.
