ASGE Publishes Fact Sheet on Colon Cancer for Hispanics

The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy has issued a news release (pdf) discussing facts Hispanics should know about colon cancer.

In the fact sheet, ASGE provides background information on colon cancer and prevention. It shares facts about colon cancer specific to the Hispanic population, and dispels myths about the disease.

 

ASGE also provides links to several helpful resources, including a video of what to expect before, during and after a colonoscopy, and tools to assist with overcoming language barriers.
