Analysts weigh in on Allergan Q1 EPS & more — 4 updates on GI companies

The American College of Gastroenterology, Allergan and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals named Kimberly P. of Pennsylvania the “Picture My IBS” winner. The contest encouraged IBS patients to express their irritable bowel syndrome experience through art and narrative.

Immuron Limited received positive news concerning its IMM-124E’s colitis preclinical program at the University of Zurich. IMM-124E showed positive effects on all levels of evaluation, including clinical parameters, tissue level parameters and immunological biomarkers.

Zacks analysts expect Allergan to post earnings of $3.32 per share for the first quarter of fiscal year 2017. Allergan will report its earnings before market open on May 9.

Allergan will present clinical data for Linzess and linaclotide delayed release, Viberzi relamorelin CIV and cenicriviroc, at Digestive Disease Week, May 6 through May 9 in Chicago.
