  1. Bend, Ore.-based St. Charles Health System has partnered with WovenX Health, a leader in virtual gastroenterology care. The partnership aims to increase access to GI services for patients in the area, streamlining care delivery and improving patient outcomes.
  2. Chesterfield, Mo.-based Gateway Gastroenterology has partnered with United Surgical Partners International to open an outpatient endoscopy center. Ground will be broken on the two-story, 28,000-square-foot facility on June 11. It is expected to open in the first half of 2026.
  3. GI Alliance has partnered with real estate company MedCore to open a new ASC in Bentonville, Ark. The ASC officially opened to patients in February, providing outpatient surgical procedures and clinical services for GI patients.
  4. Grass Valley, Calif.-based Dignity Health Medical Group — Sierra Nevada, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, has acquired Sierra Nevada Gastroenterology, also based in Grass Valley.
  5. Hickory, N.C.-based Frye Regional Medical Center, a Duke Lifepoint facility, has added gastroenterology services. Simon Allport, MD, a gastroenterologist who specializes in treating digestive conditions, including pancreatic, liver and esophageal disorders, will be the first provider at the new facility.
