1. We participated in ASGE Quality and Safety in Endoscopy Center continuing education programs; reviewed all practices/policies utilizing multisocietal guidelines; applied for and were awarded ASGE Unit Recognition Certification, only one of several hundred in the country and first provider in Wisconsin to earn the distinction.

2. We performed extensive study and training of unit director in infection control practices including joining APIC, attending an infection control training for ASCs conference and networking with regional infection control professionals. All practices are undergoing review at this present time and we are working on development of audit tools that staff can administer.

3. As a two-year-old new center, we are refining our QI measures and analysis of occurrences. This is a work in progress.
