St. Luke’s Outpatient Surgery Center in Idaho Sets Sights on December Opening

St. Luke’s in Boise, Idaho, is building a new outpatient surgery center in front of its Meridian hospital, which is currently 80 percent capacity, according to an Idaho Statesman report.

The new surgery center is on track to open Dec. 2, 2013 and cost $12 million. There will be six operating rooms — with two open to start — and six general surgeons slated to rotate through the center for the three days per week it will be open.
