New York Joint Venture Surgery Center to Create 20 New Jobs

A new joint venture surgery center in Westmoreland, N.Y., is expected to bring around 20 new jobs to the area in 2014, according to an Observer-Dispatch report.

The Westmoreland Ambulatory Surgery Center is a joint venture between physicians and Oneida Health Systems. The $5.24 million facility is waiting for approval from the state department to construct its 17,000-square-foot facility, according to the report.

The permanent jobs would include an average salary of $57,000 per year for nurses, operating room technicians, management and clerical support.
