Regent Surgical Health has formed a new joint venture partnership with the physician partners of Loveland (Colo.) Surgery Center. The multispecialty surgery center has a license for extended overnight patient stays.
Physicians Realty Trust, a self-managed healthcare properties REIT, has completed the $15.6 million acquisition of the Foundation Outpatient Care Building in Oklahoma City. The building is leased by Foundation Surgical Affiliates and includes the Foundation Surgery Center of Oklahoma City, a joint venture between 30 physicians and Foundation Surgical Affiliates. Foundation Surgical Affiliates is a wholly owned subsidiary of Graymark Healthcare.
Physicians Realty Trust has announced that the 29 physician owners of Crescent City Surgical Centre in Metairie, La., have contributed their ownership interest in the surgery center to the company' partner Physicians Realty in a $37.5 million transaction. As a part of the transaction, the physician owners received 954,877 operating partnership units, which are valued at $11,534,909.
UCLA Health has sold a Santa Monica, Calif., building that houses the UCLA Health Surgery Center to an investment company for $54 million. The 50,000-square-foot-facility houses the surgery center, a radiation oncology unit and clinical offices. UCLA will remain as the tenant.
The two physician owners of Southern Sports Surgery Center in Hendersonville, Tenn., have filed a certificate of need application for the sale of 38 percent ownership to SurgCenter Development. The physicians currently own a 50 percent stake each.
