Scripps Clinic Medical Group opens $130M outpatient facility — 3 notes

La Jolla, Calif.-based Scripps Clinic Medical Group opened the John R. Anderson V Medical Pavilion outpatient center, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Here are three notes:

1. The 175,000-square-foot pavilion is one of the state’s first centers to contain cardiac catheterization labs outside of an acute-care hospital.

2. Philanthropists Eileen and John “Jack” R. Anderson IV contributed $25 million to help cover construction costs.

3. The center will provide services for 17 different medical specialties, including neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and family medicine.
