The building is a representative of the “hub-and-spoke” trend in medical office and hospital design, according to Sanders Trust senior vice president Steve Hewett. Many new medical office buildings offer services that were previously available only in hospitals.
“This building is a continuing evolution of what’s going on in healthcare delivery,” Mr. Hewett said.
