Ohio hospital moving outpatient, general surgery services to one location

Hillsboro, Ohio-based Highland District Hospital is relocating two surgical services to a newly remodeled clinic, according to The Highland County Press.

Highland General Surgery and Surgical Associates of Highland County will move into the Highland District Hospital General Surgery Clinic, which is on the hospital’s second floor.

Highland General Surgery head Steven Battaglia, MD, currently practices in the hospital’s Outpatient Specialty Services Clinic. Craig McKinney, MD, leads Surgical Associates of Highland County and currently sees patients at an office across from the hospital.

Both will begin serving patients at the new location on Oct. 1.
