Merritt Healthcare opens Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center

Somers, N.Y.-based Merritt Healthcare has opened its Western Connecticut Orthopedic Surgical Center in Danbury, Conn.

The center is a partnership among 14 spine, orthopedic and hand surgeons and Merritt healthcare. It was purchased by the group in 2013 and relocated to Danbury after the purchase, according to a news release.

WCOSC is Medicare certified and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
