The letter, received March 12, asks DaVita to provide additional information and documents to gain regulatory approval for the acquisition, which was announced in December 2017. If the transaction obtains FTC approval, DaVita will join Optum’s OptumCare division.
DaVita expects the transaction to close in 2018.
