Cognizant will acquire Bolder Healthcare Solutions, a revenue cycle management provider, Healthcare IT News reports.

1. Bolder, a privately held company, has been growing and expanding its market share.
2. Cognizant aims to expand its healthcare consulting, IT and business process services into more provider locations, including outpatient departments.
3. Financial details were not disclosed for the transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018.
4. "As the healthcare industry continues to undergo a significant transformation to a value-based care model, digital RCM services and solutions remove complexity and allow providers to streamline their operations," said Kaushik Bhaumik, executive vice president and global head of healthcare at Cognizant.
