John Teas joined Meridian Surgical Partner’s team as the senior vice president of business development, effective March 1. Mr. Teas’ healthcare career has spanned 20 years.

Envision Healthcare’s EBITDA totaled $631 million for fiscal year 2016.

Hospital Corporation of America shares traded up 0.8 percent, trading at $84.21 per share during the week of April 24 to April 28.

Tenet Healthcare Corp. inducted Miriam Ramirez, BSN, RN, into its “Heroes Hall of Fame.” Ms. Ramirez is a nurse trauma coordinator at Berwyn, Ill.-based MacNeal Hospital.
