California practices merge, plan to open surgery center 

Beverly Hills-based California Elite Pain & Spine Institute merged with BioHealth Pain Management, according to CEPSI President Ben Shamloo, MD.

BioHealth Pain Management is the practice of Rostam Khoshsar, MD, with locations in Lawndale, Calif., and Whittier, Calif. 

The combined organization plans to open a surgery center called Biohealth Surgical Institute this month. The project has been in the works for four months.
