Merritt Healthcare has announced its intention to develop and manage the River Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center in Norwich, Conn. The ASC is expected to be completed in May.
The Skyline Surgery Center opened in Pocatello, Idaho. The ambulatory surgical facility includes three operating rooms, six recovery rooms and seven beds.
The 7,600-square-foot, $4.5 million Palomar Health ambulatory care center is scheduled to open in March. The one-story facility in Ramona, Calif., will offer primary care, urgent care, radiology and outpatient testing.
Hays Surgery Center, the first outpatient facility in Kyle, Texas, has opened. The 13,000-square-foot surgery center has five operating rooms and offers ENT, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, hand, podiatry, pediatric ophthalmology, spine and pain management services.
Kent Hospital and Seavest Healthcare Properties expect to complete the Kent Hospital ASC in Warwick, R.I., in May. The $15 million, 30,000-square-foot project will be housed in a two-story building with 27 pre- and post-operative beds.
Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, based in Naples, Fla., has recently broken ground on a $9 million ambulatory surgery center. The 20,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in 2015.
Construction has begun on the Tampa H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Outpatient Facility. The $74.2 million, eight-story building will include an ambulatory surgery center. The building is scheduled to open in February 2015.
St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center, based in Meridian, Idaho, has recently broken ground on a 30,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center. The surgery center will include two operating suites and is expected to open in December.
