7 recent ASC acquisitions & partnerships — January 2019

Here are seven ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced in January 2019:

Flagship Healthcare Trust purchased several buildings from Lexington (Ky.) Clinic, including Lexington Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center.

The former Willmar, Minn.-based Carris Surgery Center was renamed Avera Surgery Center Jan. 1, when Willmar-based Carris Health officially joined Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health.

Dallas-based Healthcap Partners bought Calumet City, Ill.-based Eyecare Service Partners Surgery Center and Medical Facility from Midwest Eyecare Center.

O'Fallon, Mo.-based Mercy Clinic acquired a 50-year-old orthopedic practice in Oklahoma City that includes an ASC.

Kingsport, Tenn.-based Holston Medical Group is reopening an outpatient surgery center in Bristol, Tenn., after the facility shut its doors in August 2018.

Topeka, Kan.-based St. Francis Campus, a member of the University of Kansas Health System, purchased Tallgrass Surgical Center in Topeka.

New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System's investment arm is taking a minority stake in a planned ASC in New York City.
