Eyecare Service Partners Surgery Center and Medical Facility sold to Healthcap Partners

Dallas-based Healthcap Partners bought the Calumet City, Ill.-based Eyecare Service Partners Surgery Center and Medical Facility, according to REJournals.

Here are the key details to know:

1. The seller was Midwest Eyecare Center. Avison Young negotiated the sale.

2. The 21,000-square-foot, two-story facility offers ophthalmic surgical procedures.

3. Avison Young Principal Mike Wilson told REJournals, "This transaction shows the continued strength of the medical office sector, which is drawing investors due to its stability and growth potential. This property is a long-term critical asset with a surgery center on site, which is a very sticky tenant for the landlord."
