Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White teamed up with United Surgical Partners International to purchase majority ownership in Tyler-based Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.

Private equity firm KKR acquired Covenant Surgical Partners from previous owners and shareholders.

The 7,086-square-foot Genoa City, Wis.-based Geneva Surgical Suites opened on July 24 through a partnership with area physicians and SurgCenter Development.

Easton-based University of Maryland Community Medical Group acquired Easton-based Digestive Health Associates.
