Three details to know:

1. Certificate of need. ASCs with a certificate of need are more attractive and valuable to potential buyers due to the obstacles obtaining a CON can present.

2. Multispecialty status. ASCs with multiple specialties are less likely to be greatly affected by shifting reimbursement compared to single specialty centers.

3. In-network contracts. ASCs with in-network contracts are more attractive to buyers than those with out of network contracts due to the risk out of network billing can bring.
