States with highest number of opioid-related overdose deaths in 2015

Based on CDC data, The Washington Post reported the highest number of opioid-related overdose deaths by state.

The following six states had between 20 deaths and 36 deaths per 100,000 people last year.

1. Ohio
2. Kentucky
3. West Virginia
4. New Hampshire
5. Massachusetts
6. Rhode Island
