2. Healthcare professionals and industry providers are also encouraged to take pledges for patient safety and contribute to the discussion about how to enhance patient safety.
3. Healthcare professionals may access educational materials from the website and post photos of themselves in hospital gowns to support the “we are all patients” campaign.
4. St. Louis-based Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals will serve as the exclusive sponsor of Patient Safety Awareness Week 2017.
5. Tejal K. Gandhi, MD, serves as president and CEO of National Patient Safety Foundation.
