Texas Institute for Surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas will soon begin offering standing, or weight bearing, CT imaging for foot and ankle patients.

1. The weight bearing CT scanner was introduced in the United States in 2012.

2. The institute has acquired the pedCAT system that aims to provide weight-bearing, 3D CT imaging of the foot and ankle region.
