1. Baby Boomers are more likely than millennials to use digital healthcare tools.
2. The impact of electronic health records and patient-directed technologies is having a profound shift on patient behavior, occasionally leading to a patient switching providers.
3. Eight out of ten patients reported that electronic health records have either improved, or have had a negligible impact on their physician. Nearly a third of the respondents said their overall care has improved with the records.
4. Baby Boomers are the group most likely to take advantage of digital healthcare tools, viewing their medical records online, request prescription refills and contacting their providers with follow-up questions.
5. Millennials, however, are most likely to switch to a provider that provides electronic records.
