1. OOA CEO Ben Shah recently underwent a successful procedure at an OOA center. Mr. Shah credited Ms. Johns for the exceptional experience.
2. He said Ms. Johns built a patient-focused culture to ensure patients always receive “the best possible experience.”
3. Since assuming the director role in 2015, she has led the charge on several patient-forward initiatives. For example, she created a committee comprising several different departments in the surgery center to help improve the patient experience, both preoperatively and postoperatively.
4. Mr. Shah said, “The first thing she did was build a culture that’s highly focused on the patient and making sure they have the best possible experience. That happens through making the right hires and standardizing protocols so there is a consistency of care for patients.”
