Aspirus’ St. Joseph Outpatient Center to lead emergency preparedness drill

Antigo, Wis.-based St. Joseph’s Outpatient Center and Antigo-based Volm Cancer Center will host an emergency preparedness drill May 4, the Antigo Times reports. Antigo-based Aspirus Langlade Hospital and several community organizations are partaking in the drill, which will ensure the Antigo community is ready if disaster strikes.

Aspirus Langlade Hospital Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Deb Witman, RN, said, “Although we hope we never experience a serious safety event like this, the hospital takes a proactive stance to ensure the safety and security for those present in our facility.”
