AmSurg physician services’ revenue up 46%, Nobilis Q1 revenue hits $51.3M & more — 6 key notes on ASC companies

AmSurg’s physician services net revenue reached $417.5 million, up 46 percent from $286.5 million for the first quarter of 2015.

During the first quarter, Nobilis Health’s revenue reached $51.3  million, a 35 percent increase from the same period in 2015.

Medical Facilities Corp. announced a cash dividend payment of Cdn$0.09375 per common share. This May dividend is MFC’s 146th consecutive dividend payment since the company’s inception.

Net income attributable to Surgical Care Affiliates in the first quarter was $2.4 million, up from negative $9.2 million in the first quarter of last year.

Last week, Moody’s reduced Tenet Healthcare’s corporate family rating from a “B1” to a “B2.”

First Call analysts estimate Tenet will post earnings per share of $0.41 for the next quarter.
