Mr. Crawford helps providers reduce procedure abandonment and earn revenue by finding payment solutions for their patients.
He shared the following advice for ASC leaders:
“Offering an affordable option for patients to cover the out-of-pocket costs for their procedures should be at the top of this year’s priority list for ASC administrators, healthcare professionals and investors. Patient payment responsibility has grown more than 230 percent over the last decade and now represents over 30 percent of a patient’s bill. This increase affects the bottom line for ASCs as well as the patients in need of care. They need to look for options that benefit the patients, as well as boost collection rates and reduce procedure abandonments.”
