Survata interviewed 151 online respondents between Dec. 18, 2018, and Jan. 7, 2019.

Here are the types of value-based programs respondents believe are most successful:

1. Accountable care organizations: 28.5 percent
2. Bundled payments: 23.2 percent
3. Patient-centered medical homes: 31.1 percent
4. Episodes of care: 17.2 percent

Here’s what they consider to be the biggest barriers to succeeding in value-based reimbursement:

5. Technology/infrastructure: 23.8 percent
6. Analytics: 16.6 percent
7. Provider engagement: 31.8 percent
8. Patient engagement: 27.8 percent
