Here are five notes:

1. The state’s Get Covered Illinois campaign has been funded by federal grants under the Affordable Care Act.

2. However, grants are running low and no new money is available for states.

3. Fewer positions will be funded in 2015 than in previous years.

4. In 2014, nearly 400 positions were paid for with federal grants of $28.7 million. This year, up to 150 enrollment counselor position will be funded under an extension allowing Illinois to use unspent money.

5. Consumers can begin shopping for private health insurance on the marketplace starting Nov. 1. The enrollment period closes Jan. 31, 2016.
