The Joint Commission awarded Muve Lakeway (Texas) Ambulatory Surgery Center and Muve Lakeway Surgical Stay Suites its Gold Seal of Approval.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Both centers received The Joint Commission’s Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement.

2. It is believed that Muve Lakeway ASC is the first ASC in Texas to earn the total hip and total knee replacement certification.

3. Both ASCs are owned by Leawood, Kan.-based ValueHealth, the parent company of Leawood-based NueHealth and Denver-based Muve Health.

4. Muve Health President Rod Carbonell said, “This advanced certification is proof that our carefully designed program is delivering the highest level of care possible.”
