Dr. Roland Flores selected to join Colorado Medical Board — 3 quick notes

Democratic Colorado Gov. Jared Polis appointed Roland Flores, MD, to serve on the Colorado Medical Board, according to CU Anschutz Today.

Three quick notes:

1. Dr. Flores is an assistant anesthesiology professor in the Aurora-based University of Colorado School of Medicine’s anesthesia department.

2. He will serve as a board member for four years.

3. Created as part of the Medical Practice Act, the Colorado Medical Board is tasked with regulating and controlling the practice of medicine in the state.
